SINFONIA ORCHESTRA
The Sinfonia is a chamber orchestra for young students at Children's Orchestra Society who have already acquired basic orchestral playing skills and experience, and who wish to grow musically in preparation for the Junior Symphonic Ensemble (JSE). While repertoire is still taken from arrangements for young players, the selections are always challenging.
Sinfonia is larger than Kinder Orchestra, and members' ages generally range from 8 to 13. This ensemble is featured twice a year in the annual Winter and Spring Concerts.
Rehearsals: Sinfonia Orchestra meets on Saturdays from 1:30-3:30pm.
